WSBD Holiday Closing

Waterski Boats Dallas will be closed from Sunday, December 23rd, until Tuesday, January 8th in observance of the Holiday Season! We wish you the best and hope to see you soon!

Indo Board Group Buy

Well, guys, while I was playing my Nintendo Wii last night, I came up with an idea. I decided that I would pull out my Indo Board and do a little balance training while I played. Well, after about 15 minutes of balancing on the Roller while playing Wii Tennis, I decided to switch to the Flo Cushion. You see, the Roller provides great balance training on side to side movements while strengthening your core muscles, but the Flo Cushion gives you 360 degrees of instability, thus allowing you to work on balancing in every direction at the same time. You can also adjust how much air you put into the cushion. More air makes the cushion more unstable, while less air provides more stability.
I haven't been on a wakeboard for a few weeks now, and I am really dying to get out there. Since I don't have a mountain close by to snowboard on, and I cannot skateboard to save my life, the Indo Board is my best option!

Anyway, I worked the Flo Cushion for another 30 minutes, and at the end of the workout I could really tell that I had gotten some good exercise. This is a great way to work your core muscles in the off season. Just set up the roller or cushion in your living room, and do a 30 minute work out while watching TV!

I typically order the Indo Board Training Package to sell at the boat show only, but I figured I would do an early group buy for those of you that are interested. This way, you can order the exact graphic you want instead of choosing from what is left when you visit me at the show. Also, if you pre order, you will be eligible for the group buy. If you call me and pre-order your Indo Board(s) before January 16th, I will give you XX% off of your purchase.

So here is the deal. The Indo Board Training Package includes the Indo Board, the Indo Roller and the Indo Flo Cushion. These are $XXX, but if you pre-order, you price will be $XXX.XX.

If you want just the Indo Board and the Roller, but no Flo Cushion, then you can purchase the Indo Original. These are normally $XXX.XX, but if you pre-order, you can pick one up for $XXX.XX.
You may visit http://www.indoboard.com/application/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=206 to choose your exact graphic. They come in Natural, Blue, Orange, Green, Rasta, Wave, Surf, Carve, Peak and Pink. I am currently riding the Carve, and the color on it came out very vibrant. However, if you like bright colors, check out the Pink. It is super bright and looks really clean!

Your Pre Order must be done and paid for on or before January 16th. The order will be placed on the 17th. You may e-mail me at ProShop@waterskiboatsdallas.com to reserve yours, or you may call me at 972.221.3705. (Please remember, we will be closed from December 23 until January 8th.) Your board should be in by the very end of January!

I just thought I would try to give back a little bit to you guys that have been watching our blog regularly! If there is anything else I can do for you, just let me know! Thanks!

2008 Hyperlite is Here!

Waterski Boats Dallas has received quite a bit of the new 2008 HO Sports/Hyperlite Gear!

Although a few of the much anticipated items are still a few weeks out, the Wake Skis have arrived! The Wake Skis from HO Sports are a new deminision of skiing! You’ve got to agree that Wake Skiing makes perfect sense. Since you do, you’ll be stoked to know the HO Wake Skis will meet your every riding desire. At 145cm long they can accommodate bigger guys but the thin profile makes them easy for anyone to throw around. The skis have a continuous rocker of 2.25” which keep them fast and the kick tips ensure you’ll get the maximum pop off any wake. The channels actually curve in a bit before they exit the board helping the ski carve and approach the wake. Equipped with small fins at both ends make riding switch a breeze and each ski has a soft landing spine beneath each foot for big airs. The progression of this budding sport is going to happen fast, so get yours soon and turn some heads on your lake.

We have also received most of the new Women's Boards, including the Blur and the Eden. The Blur has been paired with the new Blur Bindings, while the Eden has it's own Eden Binding. We are still waiting on the Opal Board with the Eden Bindings, but the wait shouldn't be much longer!

Although the Pro Model Boards are usually the last to arrive, we did receive JD Webb's new B-Side Board. This board is a totally new design that is a must see for this year!

Shaun Murray has come out with a newly designed closed toe binding as well. They are available in both black or white, and they have removable custom fit stiffiners and fit rise pads to create the perfect fit for your foot.

Last but not least, the new 109 and 119 Boys and Girls Board and Binding Combos are in stock! These make the perfect Holiday Gift for your little wakeboarder in your family!

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at marty@waterskiboatsdallas.com or call at 972.221.3705!

Supra's Five Star Protection

Introducing Supra's Five Star Protection Plan

The strongest tournament boat coverage available

Date: 11/2/07Author: Skier's Choice Press Release

MARYVILLE, TN - The 2008 model line of Supra boats is now equipped with an undeniably important industry-leading feature, the Five Star Protection plan. The Five Star Protection plan is the longest, most comprehensive factory supported limited warranty in the tournament tow boat market today.

Rick Tinker, President of Skier's Choice, manufacturer of Supra boats explains, "Our Lean transformation encourages us to go and see what the market wants. To that end, we surveyed over 1,000 owners of tournament boats. What we heard is that they want quality, reliability and performance. The Five-Star Protection plan speaks directly to our product quality and to our confidence in Supra's ability to deliver best-in-class performance."

The Five Star Protection plan has three critical component parts:
Hull: Limited Lifetime
Engine & Drive Train: Five Years (transferable to a second owner)
Components: Five Years (limited)
Protection plan coverage applies to parts and labor costs.

"Quality isn't defined by a clever marketing slogan," said Michael Littman, Skier's Choice Marketing Director. "It's the result of product development, engineering, production, and management all focused together on excellence. This Five Star Protection plan proves that what we say about Supra is what we believe about Supra. It's simply the best-built, best-backed tournament boat on the water today."

A two-time recipient of the National Marine Manufacturing Association Customer Satisfaction Index award, Supra boats are trusted by leading pro riders like Josh Sanders, Ben Greenwood, and Trevor Hansen. Supra's are used to pull the WWA World Wakeboarding championship, the Gravity Games, and INT and NWL amateur events.

"Supra Launch models come loaded" said Matt Brown, Product Development Manager at Skier's Choice. "Perfect Pass speed control, Smart Plate, Gravity III Ballast, Docking, Navigation and Courtesy Lights, color matched trailers and four different Indmar engine options, all with EFI standard. A buyer gets a whole lot of boat for their money with a Supra. The Five-Star Protection plan pretty much completes the package."

2007 Q2 Boat Sales Numbers

I thought the latest boat sales numbers were pretty interesting! Way to go Supra and Moomba!

This article is courtsey of Wakeworld.com... You can view the full article here...

Date: 10/18/07

Author: David Williams

Below you'll find new "ski boat" sales market share data for the first six months of 2007 according to Statistical Surveys Inc. Basing their information on boat registration data from 46 states, the Grand Rapids, Michigan firm's data represents 97% of the U.S. market. Their "ski boat" category represents water ski and wakeboard boats.

As you can see from the data in the chart below, Malibu leads the segment for the first six months of 2007 with a market share of 24.8% followed by MasterCraft with a 21.67% market share and Correct Craft with 13.31% market share.

A comparison of the YTD market share numbers between the first half of 2006 and the first half of 2007 illustrates the increase or decrease in the market share for each brand according to SSI. Malibu's share was down slightly with a 1.46% decrease in its market share lead. Both Skier's Choice brands, Moomba and Supra, had the most impressive market share increases with 11.1% and 12.66% respectively. The biggest market share dip of the larger brands belongs to Sanger with a 18.76% decrease.

The Liquid Circus

I just wanted to share with you the latest addition to the online wakeboarding world. The Liquid Circus is a new source for the latest wakeboarding news, info, stories and images!

The site not only has some of the coolest behind the scenes articles and footage that you won't find anywhere else, but they also give away lots of cool stuff!

1 Year Old Wakeboarder

I received and e-mail from our friends Matt and Anita Brown that I wanted to share!

Matt is the Supra/Moomba Product Manager at Skier's Choice, and he and his wife have been personal friends with us for quite some time now. They have a little boy named Benji, and just like his dad, Benji couldn't wait to get on a wakeboard! So, on his first birthday (September 1st, 2007), Benji wakeboarded! He did really well and loved every minute of it! Matt helped while Anita put the boat in gear, and Benji rode until the boat stopped!

Congrats Benji!
