Fort Worth, Texas - Hailing from more than 20 states and seven nations, the world's top pro wakeboarders are set to take to the waters of Lake Moser at Texas MasterCraft, as all the high-flying, rail-sliding water-sports action of the 2008 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour rides into Fort Worth, May 30- June 1.

Riders from South Africa, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada and throughout the United States will compete in Fort Worth for cash, points and pride by performing rail tricks and aerial stunts while maneuvering on the water at a speed of approximately 25 mph.

The Tour's visit to Fort Worth marks the second stop of the 2008 season.

Reigning MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour champion Phillip Soven (Longwood, Fla.) headlines the field of Pro Men riders, as the current wakeboard world champion enters Fort Worth as the leader in the Tour's Indmar Performance Standings. Soven looks to keep his winning streak alive, but "Bone Crusher" Rusty Malinoski (Humboldt, Sask.) plans to leave Soven in his wake -- the Canadian ripper took the top spot in Texas in 2007.

JD Webb (Anna Maria Island, Fla.), 2007 Rookie of the Year "Easy E" Adam Errington (Ullapool, Scotland) and two-time wakeboard national champion Shawn Watson (Lantana, Fla.) also have the potential to pull off an upset, as all three riders are ranked in the top five in the Indmar Performance Standings.

For the first time in history, the top female riders on the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour will be featured in the Lone Star State. The 2008 Wake Games women's champion Nicola Butler (Cape Town, South Africa) enters Fort Worth as the Tour's top-ranked rider in the Indmar Performance Standings. The second-year pro rider won her first-ever Tour title at the 2008 Tour opener in Acworth, Ga.

Butler looks to keep her winning streak alive, but ESPN Espy winner Dallas Friday (Orlando, Fla.) highlights a field of talented female rippers who aim to stop Butler dead in the water. Other riders in contention for the Fort Worth title includes current women's wakeboard world champion Amber Wing (Sydney, Australia), X Games gold medalist Emily Copeland Durham (Denver, Colo.) and 2007 Tour champion Shelby Kantar (Sacramento, Calif.).

The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour is a season-long points chase toward the tour title and the Indmar Performance Award, a $10,000 cash bonus to the top points earner in the Pro Men's Division and a $5,000 prize for the Pro Women's Division winner.

The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour is a three-day carnival of water-sports action. But not all of the action takes place on the water. On land, fans will experience tons of great food and music; athlete autograph signings; chances to win free gear; and shopping at the most cutting-edge stores for water-sports equipment including boats, wakeboards, wakeskates, sunglasses and the latest in wakeboarding and surfing fashions. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all three days.

Tickets can be purchased at Texas MasterCraft on May 30-June 1 for $10 (general admission), $5 (ages 6-12) or free (ages 5 and under). To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.prowakeboardtour.com. General-admission tickets are buy one get one free online only until May 30, 12 p.m. EST.

Free Ronix Demo Day w/Danny and Emily

On Monday, June 2nd, Waterski Boats Dallas, Ronix Wakeboards and Princeton Lakes will be hosting a Ronix Demo Day with special guests Emily Copeland-Durham and Danny Harf.

From 10am- 4pm, we will have a pre-scheduled demo day featuring two of the world’s best wakeboarders on Lake One!

Danny Harf has been in the pro wakeboard ranks for nine years now and is the only wakeboarder to ever hit a 1080 from two different directions, switch toeside and switch heelside. Other huge accomplishments include being named rookie of the year in 2002, winning the US Masters three times, winning the X-Games four times and being one of the original founders of Ronix Wakeboards. In fact, the name Ronix was inspired by Danny and Chad Sharpe.

Emily Copeland-Durham came to Princeton last year and was part of our first Ronix Demo Day. Not only is she one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet, she can tear it up on a wakeboard! Throughout her ten year pro career, she has won the US Open once, the Vans Triple Crown Once, the US Masters three times, the WWA World Championships two times, the Gravity Games two times and the X-Games once. She is known as the First Lady of Ronix, and her personality and riding tell us why.

There is no need to bring your board. Just have your Coast Guard Approved vest and get ready to join in the fun! We will have the complete line of Ronix Wakeboards available for you to demo, and there will be a 2008 Supra Launch 21V in the water ready to take you for a ride!

Come and ride! Come and hang out! Come and meet Danny and Emily! Just make sure you come out and have a good time!

The boat will leave from the dock immediately on the hour and will be on the water for approximately 45-55 minutes. We highly suggest arriving one hour before your scheduled ride so you have plenty of time to check out the new boards and bindings and we can fit you for the appropriate size.

Danny and Emily will be hanging out and helping you get fitted, answering any questions you may have, signing autographs and giving you all of the wakeboarding pointers you may need!

There will be plenty of goodies available, including the complete line of Ronix Boards, Bindings, Ropes and Handles!

This demo day is completely free, so we ask you to please be considerate of other riders when reserving your spot. If you have to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can get someone else scheduled in your place.

To reserve your spot, please e-mail me at Marty@waterskiboatsdallas.com with "Ronix Demo” in the subject line. There will be 4 riders per session (per hour). The boat will run from 10 – 4, meaning that the last session available is at 3pm. When you e-mail your reservation, please let me know which hour would work best for you, and then give me an alternate hour just incase your first choice is booked. I only have 24 spots open, so please book yours as soon as possible! For any other questions, please e-mail me at Marty@waterskiboatsdallas.com or call me directly at 972.221.3705.

That way if someone cannot make it at that specific hour, you will be there to take the spot! You are also more than welcome to come and hang out if you would like. Pro Wakeboard Tour: Acworth, GA - Final Results

Acworth, Ga. – Over the past three days, the world's top pro wakeboarders battled it out on the waters of Dallas Landing Park in Acworth, GA to compete for the first win the 2008 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour season.

Four rounds and three days later, the top-four riders in the Pro Men's Division took to the water for the final heat of the contest, where all eyes were on Rusty Malinoski (CAN), Phillip Soven (USA), Adam Errington (SCT) and JD Webb (USA).

All four rippers had a killer showing in the finals, but in the end reigning MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour champion Phillip Soven posted a 92.50 to claim the top spot in the contest and became the first rider on Tour to win back-to-back contests in Acworth. Webb, Malinoski and Errington rounded out the competition respectively.

"All those guys stomped some killer tricks out there, not making it easy on me at all," said Soven. "I was just dialed-in on my final run and came out with a win."

Although Rusty Malinoski didn't win in Acworth today, the "Bone Crusher" did pick-up some extra cash thanks to Rockstar Energy Drink. The Canadian ripper was named the winner of the Rockstar Best Trick Award, a $1,000 cash bonus for landing the most impressive trick of the contest, a Heelside Frontside Switch 720 off of the U.S. Air Force Kicker.

In the Pro Women's Division, six of the top female riders took to the water today for their finals. All eyes were Emily Copeland Durham (USA), as the two-time women's wakeboard world champion was looking to repeat in Acworth. However, in the end Copeland Durham only manage to finish third, as Nicola Butler (UK) took the top spot, followed by Amber Wing (AUS).

Today's win marks Butler's first-ever MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour victory and her second consecutive win in the Queen of Wake series. Nicola Butler's success continued in Acworth today, as the second-year pro ripper claimed the MONA VIE Best Trick Award. The award is a $250 bonus for the female rider landing the most impressive trick of the contest, a Moby Dick.

Harley Clifford (AUS) took the top spot in the Jr. Men's finals today, followed by Jimmy LaRiche (USA) and Robert Soven (USA) respectively. Clifford now paces all Jr. Men riders in the Indmar Performance Standings.

Acworth was the first of five stops on the 2008 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. The Tour's next stop will be held in Forth Worth, Tex. (May 30-June 1), followed by Twin Cities, Minn. (June 7-8), Phoenix, Ariz. (June 28-29) and Reno, Nev. (July 11-13).

The Carnival Results

Orlando, Fla. Wakeboarding's most prestigious rail contest wrapped up today at The Projects outside of Orlando, Florida as five riders battled head-to-head for the title.

The Sea-Doo Wake Edition PWC delivered consistent pulls all day while Fox and Red Bull kept the party flowing with food, drinks, clowns, girls and DJ Ken Sherry. Shawn Watson, who had been riding strong all weekend, won his round against Kevin Henshaw and Aaron Rathy won a close match with Keith Lidberg.

Watson continued his streak against Rathy and faced returning champ Parks Bonifay for the final round. Dano the Mano set the stage for what has become Wakeboarding's Heavyweight title showdown. Watson again rode solid, landing a switch toeside 270 to back lip / 270 off the Fox Transfer (angle wall) and a nose press across the entire Hyperlite A-Frame. Bonifay had a respectable showing with several hammers, however Watson pulled a higher score. Tony Smith, who judged the event commented on Watson's mastery of the entire course. "Watson has a solid, consistent run with a lot of variety."

Watson joins an elite group of rail masters only Bonifay and Scott Byerly have had ownership of the belt previously. "It's an honor to win the belt. It's not even about the money," Watson said. "Endurance plays a big factor. The course is set up so well and it wears you down. The Carnival is a great event and Pat Panakos does a great job building the course. You definitely have to have a good strategy to be successful. It was great to see Parks ride well. I know what it's like to go through a knee injury and it was cool to see him pushing it and throwing hammers."

The Carnival is made possible by the support of Fox Riders Co., Red Bull, Sea-Doo, Hyperlite and Alliance Multimedia.

Roofing has Begun

The Service Department now has a roof! The guys are still working on the showroom and getting to raise the tower. The tower is laying down in the middle of the foundation in these pictures. Hopefully it will be installed tomorrow!
