WSBD Spring Update!

Well, guys, spring is just around the corner (March 20th to be exact!) and the weather is already considerably warmer! With higher temperatures in the forecast, the lakes will continue to heat up, and with the spring rains coming, water levels should be returning to normal.

Speaking of warmer weather, many of you have decided that winter is over and have brought your boat in for its summarization. Service is steady right now, but not backed up, so if you are ready, now is the time to start thinking about getting your boat up and running for the summer! As always, our Service Department is going to do its annual 100 Hour/Yearly Service with Free Summarization Special. The spring is the best time of year to get your 100 Hour/Yearly Service taken care of. The 100 Hour/Yearly Service takes care of everything serviceable on your boat, from top to bottom. All of your fluids are changed, a new impeller is installed, the rope packing is serviced, the trailer is maintained and your electrical system is double checked. Once the service is completed, you will not have to worry about anything else for another 50 engine hours, at which time you need to perform a routine oil change. The 100 Hour/Yearly Service is highly recommended to prolong the life of your boat, and with the peace of mind that it will provide you throughout the season, the Service is the best insurance policy you can buy! Call us at 972.221.3705 to schedule your appointment!

The Launch Pad, the Waterski Boats Dallas Pro Shop, has recovered and restocked from the Boat Show! Thank you so much for helping us have another record setting Boat Show in our Pro Shop! To reward you for that, just print out this letter and bring it in for an additional 15% off of as many 2009 items as you can fit into your cart! This includes anything from boards and bindings to board shorts, hats and tees! Speaking of which, Fox has reloaded the Launch Pad with the latest selection of Men’s and Women’s Board Shorts! You have to start the season off with a new pair of boardies! Wearing old shorts in a new season is a crime!

As of today, Waterski Boats Dallas has become an official dealer for Hart and Huntington! If you are one of those complete Fox junkies, then you will love the Hart and Huntington stuff! Although we won’t be providing the Tattoos, we will be providing Cary Hart’s Clothing Line! Check it out at http://www.hartandhuntingtontattoo.com/! Spring goods are available now and summer stuff will be available soon!

Boat sales have been good this year as well! Although the boat show incentives are gone from Supra and Moomba, Waterski Boats Dallas has started their Grand Opening Incentives by offering a “Pay No Sales Tax on any 2009 Supra and Moomba in Stock!” That’s right! You can now skip that 6.25% fee that is tacked onto the sale price of a boat in the State of Texas! This could mean up to a $6,000 savings on a brand new 2009 Supra or Moomba! This special will run thru Tax Day, Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 (ironic, isn’t it?).

While we are on the subject of April, Waterski Boats Dallas is looking to host their Grand Opening on Saturday the 18th. Much more info is coming about this, so stay tuned!

If you haven’t visited our blog lately (located at http://waterskiboatsdallas.blogspot.com/), you may have missed quite a bit! First of all, the 2009 WWA Wakeboard World Championships will return to Orlando in August! The qualifier for Worlds (Nationals) will be held in Oklahoma City this year, at the 2008 Worlds Site! In case you didn’t know, Supra is the official towboat of the WWA Wakeboard Worlds, and we have all been waiting patiently to find out when and where Worlds would be officially held this year.

Incase you missed the boat show, we did a live wrap install on a 2009 Moomba Mobius XLV. There are pictures from the boat show and from the live wrapping on the blog. We have also posted a video of a 2009 Supra Launch 24SSV BROstock Edition Wrap being installed! So if you have ever wondered how in the world it’s done, now you can see it first hand! And speaking of First Hand, there is a link on the blog to the recently aired “Chad Sharpe’s First Hand” which was broadcasted on Fuel TV. The entire episode is now available on-line for your viewing pleasure!

If you want to stay up to the minute on the latest at Waterski Boats Dallas, just visit us at http://waterskiboatsdallas.blogspot.com/ and subscribe to our blog. This is a super easy way to receive alerts whenever our blog is updated (which now is once or twice a day)! On the right hand side of the page at the very top, you will find the link that says “Subscribe in a Reader”. Just click on that link and it will instruct you on how to subscribe in the best way that will suit the way you receive your information!

We will be launching more features to our http://www.waterskiboatsdallas.com/ website as well! Currently, you may view all of our Supra, Moomba, Voyager and Pre-Owned Inventory. Up-coming events and specials are featured as well! However, a new addition will soon be added which will be called “WSBD Networking”. This is a chance for you to share with us what you do for a living and what you may provide to others. We have customers in almost every field out there, so we got to thinking, “why not let our customers share their skills with each other”. It is always more comfortable doing business with someone that you have a common interest with. Soon, you will be able to browse thru a list of products and services that our customers are involved with so that you may have a starting point incase there is something that you may need. For example, you may need to get a new fence for your back yard. Let http://www.waterskiboatsdallas.com/ be your first stop and look to see if any of our customers build fences. It is a great place to start, and you already have a common interest with that person since you are both customers of Waterski Boats Dallas. It sure beats flipping thru the yellow pages or doing an on-line search and calling up a stranger. If you are interested in being a part of the Waterski Boats Dallas Network, just let me know and I will get a form out to you to fill out so we can post the information you provide to us on our Networking Page.

We look forward to working with all of you this season! Like I said, with the season coming so fast, we will be complaining about the heat before we know it!

If you would like to be removed from our e-mail list, please reply to this e-mail with “remove” in the body. If you like what you just read or know someone that may be interested, please forward it on to your friends and family!
